My New Addiction

It’s terrible but I’ve been really neglecting my skin for a couple of years now.  Going to bed without really removing my makeup, not drinking enough water, getting 2.5 hours of sleep at night, not putting on sunscreen…

With the birth of my second child I just didn’t care that much anymore, but deep in the back of my tired mind I thought, ONE DAY I will get back into it.  Yeeeah one day.  Well a few weeks ago was that day, so I decided to buy a Clarisonic brush.  I’d read so many reviews on this, and if JLo the queen of creamy perfect skin herself was a true believer then I had to get my scaly hands on it.  I ordered the PRO version which comes with a body brush head and has four speeds instead of the usual three (because after two years of nada I had to go overboard), and all I can say is…

ImageWHY HAVEN’T I DONE THIS SOONER?!! My skin is soft, smooth, glowing, AND the cleanest it’s been in forever.  My moisturizer and serum sink right in so I use even less(bonus), and my makeup goes on perfectly.  At first it took a while to get used to, because there’s a timer that lets you know when to move on to the next part of your face (about ten seconds on each part) but it’s about only one-three mins in total.  I guess I never really took the time to cleanse my face for that long, but it has since become this ritual that I love.
Also as part of a trial the brush also came with the Clarisonic Opal, which is the device for use around the sensitive eye area, and it’s just as amazing.  It comes with its own Clarisonic serum but I’ve been using my Boscia eye cream with it and I’m looking alive again.  Like my 17 year old self (well almost ha!).  The fine lines and dark circles that I have are reduced and my eyes are less puffy.  It’s an investment but honestly when this one konks out I will definitely purchase another.
