Currently on our walls.
An Alain Bonnefoit print (I definitely need a better frame for this).
Photographs I took of Trinidad.
For a long time I had nothing on my walls. No photos, no paintings, nothing remotely crafty, just an expanse of boring, white space. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to display, and even though I knew what I didn’t like, when it came to choosing art that I did like, I just couldn’t pull the trigger. I’ve since come to realize that it doesn’t have to be that complicated or serious, and the worst that could happen is if it’s not working, I’ll just TAKE. IT. DOWN. That being said I do think the actual hanging can be tricky. I’m a fan of the random cluster myself, or even better just a few pieces leaned up here and there, but a perfectly symmetrical wall of prints can be stunning as well.
